BioDenta® was founded by Dr. Tyler Tay, a dentist with over a decade of clinical experience who began questioning the way oral care is marketed – with some slogans promising to kill 99.9% bacteria.
But not all bacteria are harmful — many protect teeth, gums, and overall health. Wiping out everything disrupt the oral microbiome, the community of microbes that keep the mouth healthy, and can create new problems.
Dr. Tay’s insight was clear: Lasting oral health means protecting the oral microbiome — keeping beneficial bacteria thriving while controlling harmful ones. BioDenta® was created to do exactly that, working with your biology instead of against it.

Dear Friends,
For far too long, people fear the word “bacteria” and try to kill everything – using harsh alcohol rinses, aggressive toothpastes, or sterilizing products. Microorganisms have existed for billions of years, shaping the Earth’s air, soil and oceans. Consider the ocean: there is no filter media to recycle waste, break down dead organisms or to keep water clean. It all works out because of bacteria.
When I began my dental career, I believed diligent brushing, flossing and regular check-ups would be enough to keep my patients healthy. Yet many still struggled with dental issues. Most toothpastes and mouthrinses wipe out all bacteria, including the good ones, disrupting the oral microbiome. A healthy mouth, like a healthy gut, needs good bacteria to be healthy.
BioDenta® was created to bring that natural principle into our daily oral care. We make microbiome-friendly solutions that protect good bacteria and manage the harmful ones.
